How we Work
Utilizing a combination of heart centered hypnotherapy, talk therapy and skillful planning, we strive to release old patterns and create concrete plans for moving forward. Below is a brief description of Heart Centered Hypnotherapy as well as Mediation as we use them in session.

Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy
Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy (HCH) is a modality that facilitates deep transformational growth of mind, body, emotion and spirit.
A typical session of HCH begins with a set intention or focus on a problem area. This can be any area of life that is not “working” for you as the client. Relaxing music and meditative talk guide you into a deep state of peace and serenity. This sanctuary state is then anchored thus beginning the session.
You are then guided back in time to the source of the presenting problem. Hypnosis often produces a deeper contact with one's emotions, resulting in a lifting of repression, exposure of buried fears and conflicts, and a healing through deep release. It is in these moments when you have the “aha” experience. Issues that have been subconsciously affecting your life for decades become clear and are released!
Releasing feelings of anger, hurt, shame, sadness and fear proceed for some time around HCH sessions. This release illuminates old patterns or “conclusions” which have dictated behavior that is not always healthy or in your best interest. Conclusions such as: “There is something wrong with me,” “I can’t handle my life,” “I have no feelings,” “Life is unsafe,” “People are untrustworthy,” “Relationships are scary” or “I have no voice.” Whatever the conclusion is for any participant one thing remains clear, the conclusions all are self-limiting, constricting and dehumanizing, separating one from their truest, remarkable self.
After some time, a new conclusion emerges. This new conclusion is vital to the healing process as it is created from the here and now! This conclusion is then anchored - body, mind and spirit through a variety of experiential healing modalities.

Guided Meditation
Meditation is an integral part of transformational work. Meditation allows the client to listen to the ever-present dialogue between the mind, body and spirit. This dialogue creates an opening for healing at the deepest level.
Meditation is a powerful method for calming the mind so we may begin to know the subtle messages from body and spirit. As we move through life, our bodies react physiologically to our experiences. These physiological responses are recorded as “body memories.” Accessing these body memories through meditation guides us to a deeper and more meaningful understanding of our authentic self. The spirit, or spiritual conduit to higher purpose and meaning, also becomes available to us when we create a space to truly listen.
Meditation is used in most every session as a way to ground the client in the present moment and to notify the body that we are ready to work. The client is guided to breathe life into each chakra, the energy centers throughout the body. As one breathes into these centers, any previously blocked energy begins to flow more freely. The client is then guided to note any area that may be experiencing resistance to the free flow of healing energy. Healing is ultimately achieved when the client learns to quiet conscious thoughts and move into the flow of profound acceptance and love.
